Dev Biswal brings first-hand restaurant experience to Odyssey Advisory, helping restaurant and café owners approach their business with a practical operator’s perspective.
Originally from Odisha, India, Dev’s career has taken him through Dubai, London and Kent. He became a partner in The Indian Princess in Margate in 2006 and chef patron in 2010. The restaurant later became The Ambrette. Today, he is the executive chef and founder of The Cook’s Tale in Canterbury and the founder of The Cook’s Adventures, creating food-led travel experiences.
His experience combines restaurant ownership, menu development and culinary entrepreneurship. Through Odyssey Advisory, he brings that background to clearly scoped reviews of menu profitability, operating costs and opening priorities—giving owners practical recommendations and a clear next step.
